Deadline for Submitting Camera-Ready Papers:

Since PPAM 2026 took place about 2 weeks earlier than usual, we moved the deadline for submitting camera-ready versions of papers to October 16, 2026, instead of Nov. 2.


PPAM 2026 Special Award for the best paper presented at the Second PPAM Workshop on RISC-V

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Workshop chairs decided to give this award, including 500 and 400 euros, funded in part by sponsors - Semidynamics and E4 Computer Engineering, to the papers:

  • Gerard Oliva, Pablo Vizcaino, Marta Garcia-Gasulla, Urs Ganse, Markus Battarbee, Minna Palmroth, Jesus Labarta and Filippo Mantovani - Optimizing a Plasma Physics Kernel for Long-Vector Architectures
  • Patricia Siwinska, Adrián Castelló, Hector Martinez Perez, Enrique S. Quintana-Ortí and Hartwig Anzt - Acceleration of Ginkgo's CG Solver on RISC-V CPUs with SIMD Units

PPAM Best Paper Award

The PPAM Best Paper Award is given upon recommendation of the PPAM Chairs and Program Committee in recognition of the research paper quality, originality and significance of the work in high performance computing.

The PPAM Best Paper was first awarded at PPAM 2019 in Bialystok.

PPAM 2026 Winner for Workshops

  • Rodrigo A. C. Bartolomeu, Rene Halver, Jan Meinke and Godehard Sutmann - Speeding up N-Body Simulation Using Low-Precision Data Types

To stimulate potential authors' interest in submitting high-quality articles to the PPAM conference, one author of each winning paper will receive a 50% discount on the conference fee for PPAM 2028.


Important information

  • The weather forecast for the duration of the conference is uncertain, with the possibility of heavy rain. For the participants’ convenience, a number of umbrellas will be provided.
    Nevertheless, we ask participants to dress appropriately and, where possible, to bring their own umbrellas, raincoats, etc.
  • Tutorial organizers ask participants to bring their own laptops
  • The music concert on Sunday, August 30 will start at 19:00 instead of 19:30. The planned duration of the concert is 40 minutes. The concert will take place in the Lecture Center of the Poznań University of Technology. After the concert we will walk to the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center for the welcome reception and tour of the supercomputing facilities.

Bus transportation for hotel Park Inn by Radisson

For each day of the conference, organizers will provide bus transportation between hotel Park Inn by Radisson and conference venue.

Draft version of the PPAM 2026 program is available!

In short, the first day (Sunday, August 30) is devoted to tutorials which start at 11:00. In the evening, the concert starts at 19:30 in the conference place – Lecture Center of the Poznan University of Technology. Then we will go to the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center for the welcome reception and visit the supercomputer installations.

The regular conference program starts at 8:45 on Monday, August 31, and should finish before 13:00 on Wednesday, September 2 (see the draft schedule).

Besides the welcome reception with the music concert, the social program also includes an excursion to the National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa and a barbecue (Monday evening, August 31), as well as a guided tour of the historic Ostrów Tumski and a Conference Dinner at the Hotel Andersia (Tuesday evening, Sept. 1).

Due to multiple requests, the PPAM 2026 paper submission deadline is extended to May 11, 2026.
For workshops and minisymposia the deadline is extended as well.
